Come see the incredibly talented students of Jefferson Elementary School at 7 pm on Wednesday, November 13 in the gymnasium.

Mark your calendars for our next PTO meeting on Thursday 11/21 at 7 pm in the library.  Superintendent Scott Hough will be in attendance to hear from the parents of Jefferson.  All are welcome!  Babysitting provided in the gymnasium.

Art in the Classroom (AIC) is PTO-sponsored and parent volunteer run, so we need your help! Our goal is to provide an art history program that offers Jefferson School students a snapshot of prominent works of art by a wide range of famous artists. You do not need to know anything particular about art, as all the materials, lessons and project ideas are provided for you. The kids love this program, but we really need to secure volunteers for each grade and classroom in order to make it a success.

Calling all Jefferson students and parents! Join Jefferson alumni and current Summit High School Theatre stars Sarah Walsh, Gavin Colucci, Nick Fenelus, Matt Krunnfusz, and Izzy Curiale in Peter Pan and Wendy.

In this family-friendly production, J.M. Barrie’s classic Peter Pan is reimagined for a new generation of theatregoers as a bright, charming empowering play for all ages. It will be playing in the Summit High School Auditorium on  Friday, November 15 at 7 pm and Saturday, November 16 at 1pm and 7 pm. School-age audience members can meet and greet and take photos with the cast after Saturday’s 1 pm show. Tickets are available at  https://cur8.com/projects/hilltopper.  

Once the trick-or-treating sugar rush has subsided, give your past-their-prime pumpkins and other gourds a better home than the landfill. Recycle them for free at one of Union County's seven participating locations through November 30th (link)!
