Mark your calendars for our next PTO meeting on Thursday 11/21 at 7 pm in the library.  .  All are welcome!  Babysitting provided in the gymnasium.

Superintendent Scott Hough will be in attendance to hear from the parents of Jefferson

Jefferson counselor Ms. Mortenson will discuss our Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying procedures. Both staff and students receive information about our HIB law and investigation steps at the very beginning of the year. It’s important that we all work together to understand the law, how to report a possible HIB and what to expect if your child is involved in a HIB investigation.

Art in the Classroom (AIC) is PTO-sponsored and parent volunteer run, so we need your help! Our goal is to provide an art history program that offers Jefferson School students a snapshot of prominent works of art by a wide range of famous artists. You do not need to know anything particular about art, as all the materials, lessons and project ideas are provided for you. The kids love this program, but we really need to secure volunteers for each grade and classroom in order to make it a success.

Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School will present the beloved story The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe in the LCJSMS Auditorium on 11/22 and 11/23. This show is full of fantastical characters and tells a timeless journey of good over evil. The family friendly production is geared to ages 6+ and is a perfect kick-off to the holiday season.

Shows are scheduled for Friday 11/22 at 7pm and Saturday 11/23 at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are $15.00 for adults/children 11+ and $13.00 for seniors/children 10 & under and may be purchased HERE

Once the trick-or-treating sugar rush has subsided, give your past-their-prime pumpkins and other gourds a better home than the landfill. Recycle them for free at one of Union County's seven participating locations through November 30th (link)!
