Picture Re-Take Day: Tuesday 11/26

If your child is doing a re-take, they MUST return the envelope of pictures they brought home and give that to the photographer when they sit for the new picture. (You can keep the class photograph).  If your child was absent on our original picture day, they should be prepared to sit for a picture on Tuesday.  See flyer for more details.

What is the Holiday Shop?

The PTO has partnered with the Lil' Shopper's Shoppe to bring you the Jefferson Holiday Shop! It is a fun way for your child to purchase a gift for parents, family members, and friends. Gift items will be available for purchase during the school day on either 12/9 or 12/10. The students will visit the Holiday Shop with their class, and their designated time and day. There are affordably priced items ranging from $.50-$15. The shop will be set up in the library. It follows a similar format to the Scholastic Book Fair.

Fifth Grade Minted Fundraiser
Art in the Classroom

Art in the Classroom (AIC) is PTO-sponsored and parent volunteer run, so we need your help! Our goal is to provide an art history program that offers Jefferson School students a snapshot of prominent works of art by a wide range of famous artists. You do not need to know anything particular about art, as all the materials, lessons and project ideas are provided for you. The kids love this program, but we really need to secure volunteers for each grade and classroom in order to make it a success.

If you are interested in volunteering, check out our Google AIC Classroom to view all the lesson plans. Sign up to volunteer here
