Summer EBT is a new federal program to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Families will receive $120 for each eligible child to buy groceries during the summer. Children who receive Summer EBT benefits can still participate in other summer meal programs. Receiving benefits will not affect children or families’ immigration status. Read more here.

Art in the Classroom (AIC) is PTO-sponsored and parent volunteer run, so we need your help! Our goal is to provide an art history program that offers Jefferson School students a snapshot of prominent works of art by a wide range of famous artists. You do not need to know anything particular about art, as all the materials, lessons and project ideas are provided for you. The kids love this program, but we really need to secure volunteers for each grade and classroom in order to make it a success.
If you are interested in volunteering, check out our Google AIC Classroom to view all the lesson plans. Sign Up HERE.
